We moved into our apartment in Springville on July 3rd. It was supposed to be the 2nd, but the Uhaul had some problems and Gary wasn't able to make it with the truck until 11pm or so. The kids and I made it by 8pm after stopping a couple of times. The kids actually did really well on the trip. So we unloaded Sunday morning and spent the rest of the weekend hanging out with family.
Here are some of the last pictures I took of the kids before we left our wonderful house in Winnemucca.
Here's a video of the kids together.
These are some pictures that my sister-in-law Misti took the weekend we moved. I'm sure you can tell that she's a bit of a photographer.

We had James' Birthday party on the Saturday after we moved. My sister-in-law Kamie was kind enough to let us have it at their place since we were still unpacking. He had a great time and really enjoyed eating cake and ice cream. Unfortunately the cake kind of melted on the way over, but it still looks okay I think. I can't believe our little guy is 3 years old already! Time sure does fly. He's a pretty happy kid and a great sleeper. Lately he's been more imaginative, which is a lot of fun. He still repeats a lot of things we say too. The other day we went to BYU and while there Gary wanted to see if they had the new football posters. Gary was about to park in a spot when someone else took it. Gary said "those dirty dogs". So after he found another spot and went in James said to me "Dad's going to get dirty dogs?", I thought is was pretty funny. He's constantly saying funny things like that. He also does really well praying at night. He usually mentions something about our scripture study in with his prayer. He has had many prayers about the Israelites, the tabernacle, and currently Samuel. We love our little James and are so happy he's a part of our family.
Here are some pictures and a video from the party.
A quick update on Grace too. She learned how to wave over a month ago. Before we moved she learned how to clap. While we were moving she cut two more teeth. She still isn't crawling, but she turns around and moves a little while sitting. She'll have a doctor's appointment on Thursday, but I'm guessing she's around 20 pounds. She's still quite a big girl even though she doesn't really eat much. She's eating more solids than she used to, but it's still only some snacking twice a day. She has become a little more skeptical of strangers now, so she won't just smile at anyone anymore. She's still very smiley in general though and of course as cute as ever. She also loves to snuggle a lot, which as you can imagine is very sweet. Lately she has learned to pull herself up to a sitting position when on the changing table. It makes diaper changing hard, especially because she screams at you when you make her lay back down. She also discovered how to turn the light on and off this week. She gets really excited about that. Another thing she loves is when the garage opens. She has a high pitched screech whenever we go somewhere. The other day I walked in after her nap (which she had in her swing) and found this:
Very dangerous, but she looked so happy and proud of herself that I had to get a video of it. Now we have to push her further down in the swing and tie a ribbon around the front half of her body. Kids just grow up so fast.
These are some funny pictures taken in our new place.
Cuddle time
Gary and I are doing well too. Gary is really enjoying his new job and has been reminded of how much he likes the people who work there. We've all been loving the Fridays off. We have at least a 3 day weekend every week! It really makes the weekend seem more leisurely. Gary says he actually feels rested for the new work week. I'm excited to start using some of these Fridays to do fun stuff with the kids like go to the Zoo, Aquarium, Thanksgiving Point, Children's Museum, etc. Basically all the stuff we didn't have in Winnemucca. Speaking of stuff we didn't have in Winnemucca, we've been enjoying all the restaurants in town. We had Ruby River this weekend and it was awesome! We love being back in Utah and can't wait for our house in Winnemucca to sell so we can buy a huge house here. Whenever that happens (hopefully soon), I'm hoping to fly my family out to visit. I haven't seen my dad or younger sister in almost 2 1/2 years. I can't wait for them to meet Grace! My older sister is flying out to Salt Lake this weekend, so she'll finally get to meet Grace as well.
Well, I don't want to make this post too much longer. Hopefully most of you have been able to make it to the end :)

I made it to the end! We are glad you are here too.
James and Grace are so cute! Grace really has a high pitched squeal of a laugh. Glad you made it to Utah safely.
