Moving back to Utah

Monday I had an interview with the Provo City Attorney's Office, where I clerked during law school. It was a delight to catch up, briefly, with my old friends on staff there, and I felt like the interview went well.

Indeed it did, for today they called to offer me a job which I have accepted. So we will be moving back to Utah over the 4th of July weekend. I am thrilled! If I could choose a place to work, it would be for Provo City. Great office, important work, people that I know I like. Plus, they work 4 ten hour shifts, so I will need to get used to having Fridays off. Somehow I think I'll be able to do that. :-)

After the interview I had the pleasure of lunch with Sara Lucas and Mark LaRocco, friends from law school and my judicial clerkship. A wonderful time was had by me. And hopefully them, too. We ate at the Brick Oven, scene of Rebecca and my first date. Sara, Mark and I happened to be sitting across from the booth we had on our first date, so I took a quick picture:

In any case really excited to move back! Of necessity we will be crazy busy the next few weeks, so there likely won't be much blogging for a while.

Thanks, everyone. We are selling the house here. We have yet to find a place to live. Going to be a busy couple of weeks, for sure.
