Oreo Truffles - 100 calories each
- 1 package of cream cheese
- 1 package of Oreos crushed (easiest way is to put them in a food processor)
- 2 packages of semi-sweet baking chocolate
Mix cream cheese and 3 cups of Oreo crumbs together. Shape into balls. Refrigerate for half an hour. Heat up chocolate and dip balls into chocolate (I put a toothpick in them and dip). Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until the chocolate is set.
Mama's Dish - 1850 calories total- 1 pound of ground beef
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 package spinach (you can leave this out if you don't like cooked spinach)
- cheese (as much as you would like, we like a lot so I use 1 1/2 cups)
- bread crumbs (you can also butter 2 pieces of bread and break them into pieces - we think it tastes better this way)
- parmesan cheese (a good sprinkle on top)
Cook the ground beef and season it with salt and pepper. Make white sauce by heating butter, milk, salt, and flour whisked together in a saucepan. Cook spinach. Mix sauce with ground beef. Place all ingredients in a greased bread pan in the following order: spinach, beef, cheese, bread crumbs, and parmesan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
