Well, we have had a very big day today, with two announcements to make:
1. We had scheduled the ultrasound for today. Unfortunately, the fetus was not terribly cooperative. However, the technician felt pretty strongly that it was a girl! She followed that up with a disclaimer that it may not turn out to be a girl, but as near as she could tell, that's what it was.
As for me, I thought it looked like girl parts, but I am not trained to read ultrasounds. With James there was no doubt he was a boy, and there was certainly nothing like that, here.
So we're having a little girl! One of each. Yay!
2. In less important news, word came in today that I passed the Nevada State Bar Exam. As you might imagine, that is a huge relief and I'm very pleased that I won't have to take it again, or any other bar, for that matter, for the foreseeable future.
The pass rate was only 48%, shockingly low. I am happy to be amongst the soon-to-be-licensed. I am now lawyer squared . . . twice as nice. (Really - remember I'm a public attorney.)

I saw this on your gmail profile earlier- congrats!!!! Now the search for the name begins:) And congrats also on the Nevada bar exam- I bet that's a load off your shoulders!
YIPPY FOR GIRLS!!! i must say, I am quite partial. But they are wonderful. If you are taking suggestions for names: I vote Allison or Allie, or Al. Well, probably not Al.
CONGRATS!!! Girls are the best! ;)
Yay! Congratulations on both. With and boy and a girl you can be done, as people are always so happy to tell me here in Seattle. I just say, "It's a great start, isn't it?!" Although, after a few big fits (one from me, a couple from the kids) I feel like two is just plenty. :)
