It seems that the time is right

With the birth of our firstborn imminent, I figured it was time to start a blog. Some of you may know that I have been blogging for cougarboard.com for some time...you can read that here:

Cougarboard Blog

If you're not a BYU sports fan, though, I doubt you'd care very much.

At any rate, mostly I am setting this up for ease of transmission for pictures, video, etc. We'll see how much it gets used and go from there. My personal journals are now over 1200 pages, so perhaps I will find this forum a useful depository for what's new with us.

When I spoke to Becky earlier this week, we happened to mention blogs and she said she didn't know a thing about them. When we got your blog invite, I figured it had to be your work and not hers!

This is great! I can't wait to see pictures of the new guy posted on here!

And his name will be...?

Heather: I added her as another author, but I doubt she'll blog as much as I do. Then again, she may have a lot more time to do it what with no more work.

Nate: Thanks, it was a lot of work. I'm relieved to be done. Once the bar is over, then I can really relax.

Allie: Glad to be here. Although I don't comment much, I do enjoy your blog. It was great seeing you guys last weekend, I wish we'd have had more time. Perhaps you and Jeff will end up back here post grad school....we can hope anyway.

jeska: I would use your name, but I have been unable to deduce who you are. I'm assuming one of the Jessicas? But which? hmmm. So much for my logic minor. The name will be one of these three:

1. James Madison Millward (if he comes today, this is the winner, and a strong candidate otherwise), or
2. Jack Robert Millward, or
3. Brant Robert Millward.

yay! Hey...where did you guys move to? We randomly ran into someone who said you were moving to SF. True???

Amanda: This is true. We moved in on June 7th off of Route 6. Two Jacks isn't even that far away...we plan on patronizing it regularly.

Out of curiosity, who did you run into? Outside the ward and fam I'm not sure many people knew. I guess my fellow bailiffs did, too.

I have been meaning to call you guys ever since we decided to move, but what with POST, moving, studying for the bar exam (which I should be doing as I type...gah!), and refinishing the coffee table, I have neglected pretty much everyone I know.

Anyway, we definitely want to have you and Jeff over when you're in our neck of the woods.

Yay! I'm glad you guys are bloggers now. It's good for keeping in touch. Can't wait to see your beautiful boy. Happy Pushing Rebecca!

I seriously can't remember their last names but it was Anson and Tennille. We saw them at Lowes right before you moved. We of course meant to call and offer our services...but didn't. We are in SF a lot so we will have to call you sometime when we're there and maybe stop by. Good luck with the baby and let us know when you're ready for visitors!

I'm glad your having a little boy. I seriously felt bad for you when you told me the Dr thought it was a girl at first.

Now you can do those fun things, that involve BYU, and the Utah Jazz. I seriously think you should investigate some time and "energy"(solutions) into becoming obsessed with the Jazz.

Ricki: I have also enjoyed reading your blog. Great way to keep tabs.

Amanda: That would be the Calls, and don't worry about the move. We had a good turnout from the Elder's Quorum, and were loaded and unloaded in about 2 hours. It went very well.

Jeff: I can only feed a Jazz obsession during the football offseason, but fortunately they coincide nicely. I hear the Jazz are in the market for Magette. If they could work a deal sending out AK for him, I think that would be a great move.
