When they remodeled the lower level of the Marriott Center some years ago, upgrading to newer, softer, blue seats, BYU gave away the original yellow chairs. I picked up four of them, and they have been sitting in my basement ever since. In preparation for the next basement construction project, we are cleaning out the basement.
Accordingly, the chairs have now found a new home in the garage, where I finally mounted them with lots of help from Joe and James. I'm sure not many will see the appeal, but I am thrilled to have seats that were in place for Kresimir Cosic, Danny Ainge, Shawn Bradley, Jimmer Fredette . . . and of course the great Steve Schreiner, gracing my BYU haven:
