Hair

The era of hair-edness is ending for me.  This picture, taken in July, shows the problem:

I am just not a fan of the island-of-hair tuft look, which is what I am getting whether I like it or not.  So, this past weekend I decided to see what it looks like with some other options.

In the following pictures, there are six different hairstyles.  The first is regular haircut where it has gotten long enough that I want to cut it.  The second is directly after a regular haircut.  The third is buzzed with a 2 guard, fourth with a 1 guard, fifth with a 1/2 guard, and the sixth is bic-ed to the skin.  Please try to ignore the ultra whiteness of the bic-ed look; I am sure it won't look like that after a couple weeks in the sun.

Also, the pictures go from bald-ness hiding eye level, then inclined head showing my scalp (dun dun duuuuunnnn), then two profiles.

I would be very interested in which style you think I should adopt moving forward:

I vote for the 2 guard.

Kiersten and I second Steve's vote--2 guard.

Jon and I think 2 as well :)

I say number 1 guard, it looks great and you can grow it out a bit to the number 2 guard length which also looks good.
