Grace's Birthday and Zoo Trip

Grace turned 1 on the 25th! I can't believe it has been a whole year since she joined our family. She's such a sweet and happy little girl. She really is such a joy to have in our family. Here are some pictures and a video from her little family party. (I didn't get any still pictures of her presents, but she did get some.)

The next Friday we took a trip to the zoo. I had been promising James that we would go since we found out we were moving back to Utah. The kids had a lot of fun and it was pretty good weather for it too. James seemed to like most of the animals, but his favorite thing was the wood elephant statue that snored. For a few days after he kept talking about waking up the elephant. Grace didn't really care that much, but she did enjoy watching the lemurs run back and forth. Here are a few pictures.






This giraffe was pretty funny, he kept drinking water and then licking the wall. You can see him licking the wall in this picture.












So that's what we've been up to. Now we start our search for a house here in Utah, so hopefully soon you'll see a post about us moving again.
