The Tiger Room Makeover

And you all thought that I had completely disappeared from the blogging scene. Well, you were almost right, and you will be for a bit into the future, as I am facing my second bar examination in a little under six weeks. I am about to immerse myself in studies, so I might not blog again till March, we'll see.

But anyway, I have been meaning to blog about the first major renovation project in our house, which was changing the second bedroom from tiger-themed marsupial room to nursery for baby James. I would describe it, but I think the pictures do it more justice than I could. Notice the awesome green blinds:

So that's the before. We switched it to Dune color walls with white trim. Here is the finished product:

We think it is a vast improvement. There, something done in October successfully blogged about in January. Progress and progression. ;-p

Roar! I love it. The makeover, I mean. Although, it's not quite finished yet. More pictures once the nursery furniture moves in. Please.

That looks amazingly better. Thank you for putting that room out of its misery.

Looks like you could always fall back and become a remodel specialist, if that lawyer thing doesn't work out!

Oh...wow. Who were these people that used to own your house? And where did they get that wallpaper? That is amazing.

How did it take you so long to tell us about the tiger room?! I must admit that sometimes I look at blog posts' pictures before I read the actual post. And in the case of "The Tiger Room Makeover" my heart kind of sank when I saw the initial pictures. Now I'm no interior design guru but that wallpaper is awful. The problem was I thought you redecorated the room and the tiger wallpaper was the "after." I told Kiersten I thought you went to Winnemucca and either went crazy or decided you wanted to fit in with the rest of your neighbors. She laughed and told me to read the post. After reading it, I'm feeling much better about the world.

Oh, and good luck on yet another bar exam!

Wow - anything might be a big improvement. That being said, I am a sucker for neutrals, so I love it!

Good job. MC Hammer will miss his guest bedroom there!

Well if you can't be handsome, you can at least be handy.... lucky for Becca you can be both.
