James is very shy around the camera, so it's so hard to get videos or pictures of him doing those cute things that babies do. Tonight before bed he was playing peek-a-boo over and over, so Gary went to get the camera. We luckily got some of it on camera, although he got very shy compared to before the camera came out. You can also see how much he loves his stuffed animals. He hugs them and gives them Eskimo kisses all the time. He's a cute little boy and we love him a lot.

What a cute happy little guy! I can't believe he can talk! What was his first word? Caleb is funny around the camera, too. Not shy yet, I don't think he's old enough for that, but when he sees the camera, he just becomes transfixed and stares at it, forgetting that anything else exists, so all of our smiling pictures of him are from the side; we have to sneak up on him so he doesn't notice! Hope you're still liking NV. Jared says that he hopes you have fun in Dallas! Cheer loudly for us!

Just so you know, I did not get the perfect "sleeps all the time baby" and I have had to remember that I love her a lot at 3 am when she won't sleep. Still, I love being a parent and it looks like it only gets better!
I'd say his first word that wasn't Mom or Dad would be "ball"
