James has been saying mama for several weeks now, but I decided we should get it on camera. Here he is saying mama while playing with his toys. You can also see his attempt at crawling.
Well, I'm not really sure he associates the word with Rebecca, but who knows. Sometimes he seems to say it to me when she's out of sight as if he wants to see her.
He is on the young side to be having a first word. But then, he probably inherited his Mom's native brilliance.
I always like to think they know exactly what they're saying, especially since Levi's first word was "Mama" at 4 months old. He only said it for 2 weeks, then nothing for several months. When he started talking again it was all "Dada"! I needed those 2 weeks. :)
In response to Rebecca: No, we weren't able to visit all of our friends in UT! I wish we could have, but it was hard to get around while sharing a rental car with Jeremy who was working most of the time we were there. Mostly family visits. Hopefully we'll do it again soon and catch you guys!

Is he really talking already?! That's crazy!
