Pictures from Christmas

We tried to get a good family picture in front of the Christmas tree, but this was as good as we could get without having someone to try and get James to smile.

Here is James opening his first present at home. This was the walker we got him.

We went to Maryland this year for Christmas. We had a great time visiting with my family. James got to meet a few of my aunts, uncles, and cousins; his Uncle Danny, Aunt Pam and cousin Abbie; and his Aunt Melissa and Great Grandmother. It was such a treat for us to be able to see those we haven't seen in quite a while. I haven't seen my brother Danny and his family since our wedding! It was also great that my Nana stayed in Maryland longer than she would have to meet her first great grandchild. We are grateful for the loving family that we have. We're also grateful for all that my parents did for us while we were there. We had such a fun time and they spoiled James rotten with all of their Christmas presents. Here are a few pictures from our visit:

I'm glad to see you guys took the requisite "Bow on the head of the baby" picture. We have more than a few of those too. They just make the best presents.
