Video of James with Piglet

Also, here is a picture of our new beta that we got yesterday. He doesn't have a name yet, but I think he's real pretty. We've always named our betas after Greek or Roman gods or heroes....we've had Pericles, Apollo, and Hermes so far. If you have any suggestions, please let us know.

James is so cute! He looks smart too.

For the fish, how about Poseidan, Ruler of the Sea?

It would be great to hear what you guys have to say about this election's candidates. I remember your(Gary) political "rants" at the good ol' HFAC! :)

I like that name, I think he looks like a Poseidan. Thanks for the help, it always takes us forever to pick a name it seems like.

As far as the election candidates, I personally am not sure who to vote for. On the one hand I'm republican, but I really don't like McCain. He's not someone I would like to be president. I like Obama's charisma and public appearance, but don't agree with his policies. I'm just really not sure. The policies that get put into place have more to do with congress, so maybe I should vote for personality....I just don't know. What are your thoughts?

Political rants eh? Well, there is obviously a lot to rant about this year, but I actually find this election to be somewhat less than compelling.

Obama is clearly winning the debates. McCain just isn't nearly as charismatic or as well spoken. I think Obama will win with little effort. McCain swung for the fence by naming Palin his running mate, but I think that was only a double at best, and certainly not a grand slam.

Perhaps this is merely a jaded Mormon talking, but I think the Republicans made a massive mistake in not nominating Mitt Romney.

Talk about a guy who could speak with a lot more credibility about helping a country in economic distress. All the guy has done is made a huge fortune saving ailing companies and the SLC Olympics. If he was a Protestant or even a Catholic, it would have been a no-brainer choice, since he had a legitimate shot at pulling in Massachusetts.

Too bad.
